It’s no longer about what you do. It’s about how you lead.

💡 It’s no longer about what you do.  It’s about how you lead.

When you reach a senior leadership role, the rules of the game change.

✅ Success is no longer about your own domain knowledge and expertise.
✅ In fact, research by the 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 found that only 𝟭𝟱% of financial success comes from technical knowledge, while 𝟴𝟱% comes from human engineering—your ability to lead, inspire, and build relationships .

Yet here’s the trap:
Many leaders can’t let go of doing the work themselves.
They keep “jumping in” because it’s comfortable—it’s what got them there.

But every time you do the work yourself, you rob someone else of the chance to grow.
You limit your own multiplier effect.
You reduce your team’s capacity to deliver without you.

In today’s leadership, the real badge of honour isn’t being indispensable or always “on.”

It’s building a team that can thrive 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 you.

That’s what great leadership looks like.
